Hi All

Well I purchased the full version and am currently downloading the full sceneries. What a breathtaking job you have all done - Thanks! :o)

I have the updated version with Winch capability and was wondering, as I did not find anything specific on this in the manual: how should I position my glider behind the aerotow and as the winch pulls me up please?

i.e.

* Should I set a specific climb rate in feet per minute on the Winch?

* Following the aerotow am I right in thinking I should position myself just a bit below the tow and stay on the ground as long as possible on the launch?

* should I extend brakes to minimise lift on the take-off roll to stay low behind the tow?

Sorry if I sound like a greenhorn - I am!

Incidentally, I did learn to fly in Livermore, South West of Tahoe but did a couple of flights to Tahoe and one over Yosemite - wonder how that is going to look in your scenery - can't wait!!!
