I am running SW in 1024x768/32 and an impressed with the graphics. I get a good frame rate of over 35 fps 95 per cent of the time. However every 40 seconds or so I get a very brief pause of about 1 second and I glimpse the frame rate at round 5 fps. I have made sure I am only running SW by using the Win XP Task Manager. My machine is a 2.4 Ghz P4 running a GeForce T4600/128. I have 1Gig of ram. I have 5 Gig free on my Win Xp HDD and 50 Gig on my SW installed HDD.
Any ideas I can try to remove this distracting event whilst I am trying to thermal?
