Hi and thanks for something that looks very promising!
On my system the beta works great as long as I fly in the local area. If I start on a task, the "texture cache" approches the limit of 50, and the framerate goes way down. I normally get about 20-25 on my system, but when the "texture cache" approaches the limit, the framerate goes down to about 2-3 and after a few seconds my computer shuts down and reboots.
I will try the beta on another computer in the household, and see if I can reproduce the problem there also.
Another request is for a designated start task button, so that the computer doesn't start the task prematurely.
All in all this is the best glider sim I have tried, and I feel confident that this is a "must have" for all glider enthusiasts when the problems of the beta is ironed out!
