The FAI Qualifying Sailplane Grand Prix France 2013 running may 18-25 will have live tracking provided by www.livetrack24.com. This means that you will be able to follow the action live in the Silent Wings Viewer.

The Italian paragliding championships starting saturday july 28 will have live tracking provided by www.livetrack24.com which have a Silent Wings Viewer compatible server. This means that you will be able to follow the action live in the Silent Wings Viewer.

A stunning new soaring movie from The Sailplane Grand Prix in Chile has just been released. This movie contains amazing HD footage of the world's fastest glider pilots in the breathtaking scenery of the Andes mountains.

In cooperation with YellowBrick we can follow the Austrian Gliding Grand Prix in Feldkirchen this week (may 16-24).




You can either follow the races through the live webcast in a web browser, or if you have the Silent Wings Viewer you can control the cameras yourself in full 3D.

We have the great pleasure of announcing that we will have live tracking from the UK Sailplane Grand Prix at Lasham this week.

A new version of Silent Wings has been released, the new version contains updates to both the simulator and the viewer application.

We have updated the Screenshots & Movies page with a few new movies and a link to a lot of new screenshots.

Movies are now embedded in the web page with an optional download link for local viewing.

A small update to the 1.07 version of Silent Wings has been released. The main change in this version is that we now distribute the Simulator and Viewer in one package. This enables sharing of aircraft and scenery files between Simulator and Viewer.

This is also the first release of the viewer under OSX, and the viewer itself has gotten a lot of updates.

Other than that, we have made quite a few bug fixes in the simulator, especially related to joysticks on OSX and linux. You should now be able to use the CH pedals, and there is no need to calibrate the joystick by moving it in circles before starting.

We have also fixed some issues related to slow startup of the GUI, especially on windows.
